In a research article published in 2020, Professor Lawrence E. Yoseph, an American scholar, put forth a speculative hypothesis suggesting a connection between the rotation of the Earth and the existence of the Holy Ka'aba. The professor claimed that if Muslims were to cease their practices of tawaf (circumambulation) and prayers around the Ka'aba, the Earth's rotation would halt due to the absence of electromagnetic waves emitted by the superconducting properties of the Black Stone.
The professor cited the findings of research conducted by 15 universities, which proposed that the Hajar Aswad (Black Stone) is a meteorite with an exceptionally high metal content, approximately 23,000 times greater than that of existing steel. According to the professor, certain astronauts reported witnessing a brilliant light emanating from the Earth, which subsequent investigations revealed to originate from the Ka'aba or the Temple. The professor postulated that the Hajar Aswad functions as a superconductor akin to a microphone, broadcasting electromagnetic waves over vast distances, potentially reaching thousands of miles.
